Jennifer O. Mackin
President & CEO
Jennifer Mackin is President & CEO of The Oliver Group, the management consulting firm founded by Al Oliver in 1984. The core business of The Oliver Group is to provide customized, strategic consulting services to business leaders and they grow their companies and develop their teams.
The Oliver Group has offices in Kentucky and Illinois. Highly satisfied clients include the private equity investors, Fortune 500 CEOs, and entrepreneurs. The Oliver Group's client impact has grown tremendously over the last 25 years, assisting organizations in healthcare, distilled spirits, distribution, manufacturing and banking.
Jennifer directs The Oliver Group's professional consultant team, leading the company, and she also consults directly with clients. Before joining The Oliver Group, she worked in marketing and human resources in the aviation and pharmaceutical industries. Jennifer is currently a board member of Greater Louisville, Inc., the Louisville Chamber of Commerce.
Jennifer earned her B.S. in Marketing from Indiana University in Bloomington and her M.B.A. from Vanderbilt University.
Scott T. Kiefer
Vice-President
Scott Kiefer is a Vice-President with the Oliver Group and oversees strategic consulting, managing consultants to deliver customized solutions to a wide variety of client needs. Scott consults on executive and management levels to implement the Predictive Index systems and works with leaders to create performance improvement strategies.
Scott is a speaker and executive advisor with a dynamic, energetic style. He has extensive experience with designing and delivering high impact solutions that fundamentally change how leaders run their businesses. He is a trusted advisor to CEOs and Boards across the country.
Prior to joining The Oliver Group, Scott spent 10 years as an Army officer, including assignments in the Cold War capital of Berlin, where he led Army soldiers as an Infantry Company Commander. He also served as Assistant Professor of Military Science at Western Kentucky University where he evaluated and developed new Army officers. After the military, Scott led business teams at Frito-Lay and ExxonMobil. At ExxonMobil he led the supply chain organization for a world-class supplier of petrochemical products to the automotive industry.
Scott earned his M.B.A. from the University of Louisville and a B.S. in Political Science from James Madison University in Virginia. He is also a graduate of the U.S. Army Ranger School, the most challenging combat leadership course in the military.
Paige E. Huber
Vice-President, Client Services
Paige Huber is a Vice-President at The Oliver Group, a management and executive consulting firm, offering consultation in leadership assessment and executive coaching, serving boards, managers and CEOs. Her client services work drives selection decisions, as well as succession planning and team- and organization-level changes. She helps companies to objectively determine their talent configuration, develop their succession plans, build bench strength, and develop and optimally deploy their human capital. Paige has led projects that range in scope from single-executive assessments to full executive searches. Paige has helped organizations assess executives for promotion or hire into the Vice President, President, CFO, CLO, or CEO role.
At The Oliver Group Paige leads the Client Services division, working with consultants to deliver outcomes to clients. Prior to joining The Oliver Group, Paige owned and managed an executive search consulting practice. Paige has been instrumental in growing and developing The Oliver Group's Client Services staff.
Paige holds a B.A. in French and a B.S. in Civil Engineering, both from the University of Louisville.
Michael S. Wohl
Executive Vice President
Michael Wohl is Executive Vice President at The Oliver Group and provides consultation on selecting, developing, and utilizing senior leadership capital within the context of positional demands, strategic goals, organizational culture, and behavioral assessments. He consults on the links between behavior and performance.
Prior to joining The Oliver Group, Michael worked in clinical psychology, law enforcement, and as an executive within the manufacturing and human resources industries. Since 1984, Michael has consulted with the senior leaders of Fortune 500 companies, private equity firms, and entrepreneurial start-ups. He has been involved in every aspect of client service and consultant development, working with clients to create human development strategies based on a wide range of tools, including the Predictive Index®, Customer Focused Selling™, and the Sales Skills Assessment Tool™. He has been actively involved as an advisor to more than 75 senior management searches in diverse industries, from education to banking.
Michael earned his graduate degrees in Educational Psychology & Assessment from the University of Louisville and the University of Kentucky. He earned his Bachelor's in Psychology from the University of Kentucky. Michael is an Associate Member of the American Psychological Association's Divisions for Personality and Social Psychology and Counseling Psychology. He has active interests in The Psychology of Pace, Nonviolent Conflict Resolution, and the Psychology of Religion.
Dave Wilkins
Senior Consultant
Dave Wilkins brings clients a diverse professional background that includes leadership positions in the military and advertising. He spent eight years in the US Army and left active duty with the rank of Captain before beginning his professional business career.
With over 30 years of managerial and leadership experience, Dave served as Chairman and CEO of Louisville-based Doe Anderson, the 5th oldest advertising agency in the country, for 14 years. While at Doe, he led the agency's growth from $34 million in 1980 to $110 million in 2007 by expanding Doe's presence in regional and national markets with the addition of national and international clients including Maker's Mark and Kohler. Dave also directed the agency's expanded use of technology, and integrated the new disciplines of account planning, direct marketing, design, and channel marketing. Prior to coming to The Oliver Group Dave served as the Executive-In-Residence for Chrysalis Ventures. Dave holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Puget Sound in Washington.
At The Oliver Group, Dave works primarily with CEOs and Presidents on executive coaching, conflict resolution, strategic planning, succession planning, and team building. He is a trusted advisor to many diverse companies across the region.
